It is my pleasure to be here today in Denmark. As all of you know we are here because we will need all of the support of all the countries and their leaders. I have decided that me and the U.S will sign he Kyoto Protocol. We will sign the Kyoto Protocol because we realize that climate change is making a big impact in the world. For example the temperature has risen 1.26 degrees the past century. This might not seem like a lot, but it can make a huge impact in this world. another reason why we are becoming part of the Kyoto Protocol is because we realize that we are one of the top two that are emitting greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere. Another fact that we should look upon in making our decision is that 1.26 degrees that has risen in our planet or climate has created heat waves and storms around the world. For example many countries like Bangladesh are getting flooded because of climate change. We know that in order to lower greenhouse gas emissions we will have to do our job of getting limit. We know how much it will cost in order to lower greenhouse gas emissions so we will put a certain amount of money we can. We will try to do our best in order to save our planet. because of this climate change, the tempture rose 1.26 dagrees farinhit.90% of the likehood is due to greenhouse gas edmissions produced by human activity. because of this dramatic act we should take imediate action. our planet can not take this anymore. so this meeting should take to imediate action. all of this is because of human activity. when i go the the Copenhagen meeting, i hope to have an outcome on what where going to do about the climate change. thekyoto argument aims to reduce global indstrial grenhouse gas admitions by an average of 50% but the ktoto protocal is expiring in 2012 so we need to find somthing to replace that soon. i hope to make a positive outcome after this meeting.
Hello, and thank you all for coming. As climate change problems have begun to increase. In the past century the global temperature average has risen by 1.26 degrees fahrenheight or o.7 degrees celsius of increase in climate change is due to the increase on greenhouse gas emissions. The spike in temperature leads to drought, heat waves and storms. The UNFCC states that “ very narrow window of opportunity” is left.
Developing and developed countries can strike a deal. For leaders in several countries “ historical responsibility” and production of greenhouse gases. The developing countries are key to reach a copenhagen deal( which may cut emissions today).
Greenhouse gas emissions can be effectively cut. 80% of greenhouse emissions come from industrial activity and 20% come from deforestation. So Im going to set a cap and change on greenhouse gas emissions. Which will help and keep pollution rates down hopefully past 2012.
I will also try “COP15” which means I will do a short conference of parties. Voluntary agreement to each government to decide goals, so they will be enforced or will take to long or not too long at all.
We need to enforce the things and ideas we need to make climate change better. Ladies and gentlemen their is no time to waste. We are ready and legible to get this done. We need to mean what we say. We need to act more than we do say, I know we can make this better. THANK YOU!
Good morning. I am here in Copenhagen to talk to you about our climate crisis. Our experts have discovered that our Global climate as risen 1.26 fegrees in thee past century. This may not seem like a danger to us now,but in the future our increasing Global temperature might hold a threat to us all. If we are careful enough to allow green house caps on our green house emissions,we are able to prevent any other future danger to us all. Our main goal is to stabilize the concentrations in the atmosphere that contain greenhouse gases,but without endangering our climate. Possible outcomes to this climate change is a voluntary agreement which would allow each government to decide it's own goals and how to reach them. It is also possible to end up in a binding agreement as well. We hope to create a new legally binding agreement that would replace the Kyoto Protocal. I know this may sound like a heavy load especially since we are in the process of recovering from the long recession but if we all work together we'll be able to help each other.
Hello, fellow nations. We are here today to talk about a grave danger that will be effecting the entire global community. This danger is global warming, the rising of the Earth's temperature due to the emitting of Carbon Dioxide. This rise may not be much, but it expected to and already has had disastrous effects, including flooding and a rise in sea level, due to melting polar ice caps, that if not stopped could lead to many Deltas and other areas being completely submersed. As a planet we must find a way to cut down on the burning of fossil fuels, which emit Carbon Dioxide that will benefit both Developing and Developed countries. Of course, many of the developing countries have their whole economies based on industries that burn fossil fuels, that, if shut down, would leave many without jobs or food. So, a way to solve this would be to create new, eco-friendly industries that would give jobs to those who worked in the factories. Also, we should stop cutting down trees and form industries based on planting them, because they are a big factor in reducing levels of Carbon Dioxide in our atmosphere. Of course, then what would become of all the things we use that come from trees, like paper. Well, we could simply recycle the paper and it would be good as new. I f we just got more people to recycle it would happen. I think that if we as a planet put our best foot for ward we could solve climate change through alot of hard work. It is time for us to come together, as a planet and think of a way to stop global warming, and we can do it.
Hello. I am honored to be here today to talk about the nation's problems with global warming and solutions for it. First of all, I do agree to sign onto the Kyoto Protocol. Now, we should make a climate deal between the countries. The spike in climate change has hit us hard. There are many droughts and extreme storms. Floods from melted glaciers put and will put low lands under water. As you know, developed countries, like us, really need to try to limit our greenhouse emissions and see how much developing countries can reduce their emissions with out damaging their economic growth. Also, developing countries should be equal in the decision making, especially in technology and finance. Now lest talk of the causes and effects more. 80% of greenhouse gas emissions come from are from industrial activities. This includes generating power, managing waste, transportation and operating buildings. 20% comes from deforestation alone. But that's a good thing. A fast, cheap way to cut greenhouse emissions is to limit the amount of trees we cut. If we preserve forests we'll have more trees to take in all our CO2. We should still reduce industrial activities though. The cap-and-trade is a good method. With this we can use a mark that is slowly moved down so we can reduce pollution rates. Then we can trade carbon allowances. But for making deals, how do we do this? Well, we need a lot of help from the developing countries. If the developed countries cut their emissions, then the saving would be wiped out. Developing countries are the key to have a Copenhagen deal. I know it will coast a bit but we can get through this. As we all know the Kyoto Protocol will end in 2012 there for we need to think of a replacement. We need a climate deal for many reasons. One is because of the global average temp. It has risen about 1.26 F. The COP15 has aimed to lower green house gases by 5%. The UNFCC hopes to cut green house gases in 1/2 by limiting then in developed countries. I have come here today to talk about the climate chage. what is climate change? It is the change in the average temp. and precipitation that goes on for a long time. In the past the average temp. has risen about 26 degrees ferinhight. the Kyoto Protocal expires in 2012, thats not that far away. it wouldn't do much if we sign on now.As more gases, carbon dioxide,methane are added to the atmosphere it holds in more heat.
Climate Change has affected us all. In the past 100 years the global average temperature has risen about 1.26° F. The united Nations Intergovernmental Panel (UNIP) on climate change has said there is a 90% likelihood that this increase has to do with the greenhouse gas emissions. The Kyoto Protocol ends in 2012, after that no one knows what was going to happen until now. So from now and so on the U.S. will sign on to Cop15. We polluted, put gas emissions on the brink and made many landfills.
We needed to stop this before it got any worst, but we let it get worst and we now see where we have come. We need to slow down on this rapidly moving global warming. Global warming has been brought up over and over again for the past century. We have noticed these problems but haven't taken any action as to protecting the Earth from the threats it is up against. The global temperature has risen by about 1.26 degrees farenheit. I know it doesn't sound like much, but in reality it is. Five degrees more and the Planet as we know it could cease to exist. The UN's Intergovernal Panel on Climate Change says that there is a 90% chance that human actions are producing the greenhouse gases that are contributing to global warming. Some of these actions are deforestation, and fossil fuel combustion used to produce energy and run cars. A small increse in temperature has already been linked to droughts, heat waves and storms throughout the world. This is why we may need a climate deal.Not only is this affecting the environment, but the well-being of people is also being harmed. Heat waves can lead to attraction of unwanted species like the malaria infested mosquitos, and droughts destroy our food supply. Storms are the worst nowadays because the in the last few years, they have become more and more intense and have caused more and more damage. The UNFCC syas that this climate conference will "be the moment in history in which humanity has the opportunity to rise to the challenge," and I completely agree with that statement. Our goal here is to show how developed countries, such as Japan and Australia can limit their GGH emmisions, and find out how developing countries, like India and Brazil, can reduce their emmisions. We need to ensure that all countries have an equal say in how we will adress this problem becase this Earth belongs to all of us and we all love it the same way. I believe we can learn how to be better and stay that way, so that the human race and all other animal races can live on and build better futures that we could have ever dreamed of.

Lady’s and gentlemen, world leaders, we gather here today to talk about solutions to climate change. Our goals are to find plans to tackle global warming and reducing the level of greenhouse gases. We need to act as soon as possible because if we don’t come to a solution, it will be too late for planet earth and the life that live on the earth. I represent America making the right decision for not only my country but for the world. Right now, the United States is the second biggest emitter of carbon dioxide per person in the world. The United States may need to join a climate deal because in the past century, the global average temperature has risen about 1.26 degrees Fahrenheit or .7 degrees Celsius. Like most convention on climate change experts have said “very narrow window of opportunity” meaning that we can take this opportunity right now to make a change and a difference in the world. Obama's visit to the copenhagen climate change meeting made it clear of the role that the u.s is playing in this gloabal warmimg dilemna.Obama clearly states that "After months of talk, after two weeks of negotiations, after innumerable side meetings, bilateral meetings, endless hours of discussion among negotiators, I believe that the pieces of that accord should now be clear." He also states that he has three big things can will help reduce emissions while giving people jobs, being more energy effificent, and usuing renewalbleenergy. He says that they wouldnt be there if they thought it wouldnt be true of their basically wwaisting their time. He spent most of the speech talking about the u.s.' contribution towards the dilemna.
Personally, i agree with obama. I believe that he has a good starting point and good i deas. If he is able to follow hrough with them that would be even better. He has evidence TO BACK UP HIS "CONTRIBUTIONS" and proof that he is willing to change and make a difference. I would have to say though that it might be another one of he promises that he doesnt commit to and he has alot of those including the one of healthcare.
I think he did say enough. i thnk he said the perfect amount. his speech wasnt boring and it was the perfect length enough to make people listen-acutally listen. Hs speech didnt include what he though other people should do or what he "suggests" shopuld be done. He sounded like he knew what he was talking about and he stuied the topic; really paid attention to it. His speech thogh was mainly about what only he does and not what else can be done. He only talked about what he was contributing.
In my opinion, i think it might be another promise. He has some good ideas and a goos starting point. it is evident that he knows what hes doing but he might not know where its heading or have it all planned out. he talks about giving money away like we have it when we are in a recession. But, how would we be giving money away whhe nwere in a recession. Also, by giving all those coroporations money, arent we taking away more jobs from people which is what he said he would fix. It sounds like it everything that sould happen that he wants to happen comes out of his mouth. He is able to commit to most of those commitments/promisess but sometimes his ideas can be a little far fetched.
Greetings, To all nations present here in Copenhagen today many you maybe asking yourself questions like, "Why might we even need a climate deal and if climate change is even happening?" To answer the second question climate change is very real and is not a tale. Some areas across the globe are already being affected by this. A few examples could be in Southern, Central, and Eastern Europe where health risks are high due to health risks, In Northeast U.S. who are feeling the brighter side of this climate change where they are experiencing mild winters, earlier springs, and later falls, and in South and East Asia due to increases in droughts and floods there is lot's of sickness and rise in coastal water temperatures increases chances of diseases in water. The goals of this conference are to walk out here with an agreed solid solution to climate change and it's effects. To be specific we plan to stabilize atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases to a point so that it wont create a dangerous effect on the climate we must make it clear to what extent developed and developing countries shall limit their emissions. Some strageties for solving the issue of how G.H.G emissions may be effectively cut are to reduce emissions from deforestation which will make produce a faster solution we can also place a cap on emissions for countries so if they go over they pay a fee which will make nations more willing to cooperate. Controversies over this by developing countries such as China are that they probally wouldn't be able to pay if they went over the cap and that they should be allowed to pollute the atmosphere until they are as rich as other developed countries. So I believe that we should set up a sort of financial support system for developing countries that can maybe help them pay off the fee or allow their caps to be higher than already developed countries which will make these nations more willing to sign on to a deal for a solution to climate change. The time to fight off climate change is now. We must end these pointless debates over weather climate change and except it and move on, we must unite together as one world to fight this off I know we're capable of that and that change will be achieved.
Hello, I am glad to be here to discuss the importance of the Copenhagen Conference. As you all know, not too far from now, in 2012, the Kyoto Protocol wil expire. The COP15 is a good substitute for that. This time I (U.S.)have no hesitation in participating in this agreement. The health of the entire Earth is on the line, and with research, 80% is from industrial activity, and 20% from deforestation. Because 80% is specifically from industries and factories (which profit the world's economy completely), reducing this type of human activity may also reduce our economy's wealth greatly. Copenhagen is clearly aiming at large developed countries, who just so happen to be the bullseye of our world's economy...and dramatic/worrisome change in our planet. That, is the set back of the entire plan of following you with this agreement. Laws must be made for citizens to contribute and reduce their daily energy waste and inconsiderate lifestyle. Industries will be affected by this more conservative turn. $400 billion anually for climate change, $75M-$100M anual adaptation measures, and $150B for 10 years to boost energy jobs will be needed. Meanwhile the U.S.'s AND THE WORLD'S economy is going through a depression so this will be a large risk, and if anything goes wrong, t will be a deep problem for everyone. The contradiction here is that this should be a secret risk but also a great and very rare opportunity to help out our planet. As you know global warming is on us. climate change was a huge effect on not just some people but everyone as a whole. there already has been droughts heat waves,storms and more around the world. its time for the people of the world to fight back before it too late. The kyoto agreement aimed to reduce global industrail greenhouse gas emmissions by an average of 5 percent agianist 1990 levels over a yr period from 2008- 2012. it is almost 2010, 2012 is just around the corner something must be done fast. Everyone as a whole needs to cut back, but how? How can we cut back emmissions form deloping countries without it talking a toll ecomicaly? how do we cut back emissions for delvoped countries but not to much to the point they have no power and freedom. At this meeting we have much to talk about. plans, money issues and the future, we need to lower forest defestation, stop burning flossil fuels , the list goes long.in order to save this plant we call home we must work togther.
I Barack Obama think that we do need to act now and act fast "there is only a small window of oppurtunity left to do something about this climate change." We all know the dangers we face if we dont do anything. What makes me so differnt from Ric Flair who had one of the greatest WWE careers ever and his fairwell speech was great what makes me diffenrt from him or any other profesional wrestler like John Cena or Triple H, Randy Orton. What makes me so special to watch other than watching a Giants game or a Rangers game or going to a knicks game. I’m sorry if I’m late to the conference but thank you. I want to announce that I have thought about this, I have been in contact and I want to see if I can make a difference to the USA carbon emission. I’m doing this to complete a promise, I’m not forced to sign, I can back out if I want, I just want to tell you what I think. I think the climate change is a big thing right now. I know there is a lot of contra verse about Global Warming and if its good or bad on what we are doing. I also know that many of you are worried about the economy, trust me I am too. I think about how this is going to effect our world, but also how this going to affect job lost. But my question is, Do we the World have the money to do this? Or should we be paying attention to fixing our economy and doing this step by step? That’s why it’s a tough decision for me to sign the papers. But I have been thinking. I have been thinking of a plan on how we could still fix our economy and save the planet from Global Warming. I will like for us the World Leaders, the ones that everyone depends on to make the decisions to listen. My plan is to not start out big but to start out small, like say start out by making cars put less carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, then start by fixing the companies problem with carbon dioxide. The world has been polluted at our hand. Not just the U.S but everyones. We, the people has considered Earth as our planet and home. One of the threats to us is global warming. Green house gases polluted the air and the ozone layer is getting smaller. Ice all over the world is melting. Animals are dieing for having no ice to rest on in swimming or traveling in the oceans. Sea levels are rising. If this continues low leveled islands are going to be completely underwater. The sea levels are drowning people and taking away people's homes. These people do not deserve this and soon this will happen to more people. Cimate change is making people and animals suffer. That's why we should stop it. Thats why we should stop it. Together, we can make the world safe again for us and thats why we will sign the kyoto protocol.

Today is the day where we can change the world, be it for better or worse. We are all here today because we want to fix our mistakes. The U.S. is currently the 2nd largest emitter in the world. We would like to move on, and reverse our damage. We believe that we are responsible for this, and want a chance to prove ourselves . UNFCC experts say recent climate and weather extremes lead to show us that there is only a very narrow window of hope and opportunity left to stem climate change. According to the UNFCC this Coppenhaegen Conference will be the moment in history in which humanity has the opportunity to rise to the challenge. This conference can change our ideals and gives us the opportunity to fight against climate change. COP15 is the 15th Conference of parties or countries to the UNFCC. This is the fifth meeting of parties to the Kyoto Protocol. Are goals for this conference are to: 1. make clear how developed countries such as the U.S., Australia, and Japan will limit their greenhouse gases emissions.. 2. make how much developed countries like China, India, and Brazil can limit their emissions without limiting their economical growth. 3. See options for stable and predictable financing from developed countries that can help the developing part of the world reduce greenhouse gas emissions and ways to adapt to climate change. 4. Find ways to ensure developing countries are treated as equal partners in decision making particulary when it leads to technology and finance.
Ladies and Gentlemen of COP15. I am addressing you today because the U.S. needs to change its ways. However, this will not be easily changed. The U.S., along with the world, is in fact in danger. It may not be imminent danger, but it is in fact danger. Before we start off this whole talk, I would like to speak heart to heart with you. I am indeed all for saving the Earth and becoming, "greener," as a world. However, I am also for a more stable economy and an unemployment rate much lower than it is currently. I understand that this agreement could take many jobs, as well as many billions of of dollars, but nonetheless. I am committed. Scientific data has proved time and time again that to stop Global Warming, we must act now. Scientific data has also proved that the United States do in fact emit the most CO2 in the world. I fell that as a world leader, it is my duty to give back to the world. Because we owe Mother Earth, we owe her an agreement as a country and as a world.
Our climate and weather are extremely changing in past more than ten years ago. They are getting rising higher and faster than what we were planning of. I thought that it would be great that we are going to have COP15 about Kyoto Climate Changes with 185 nations. But except for us, United States. Most of you know why. That because the Kyoto Protocol is going to expire on the year of 2012. We call it is an, “ambitious new deal.” It needs to be worked out of this year to provide governments guidance beyond Kyoto. The UN Framework on Climate Change aims to stabilize to the atmospheric concentration of greenhouse gases. It could leads to a level that will not create the dangerous interference with the climates.
Our country, United States needs $400 billion dollars in a year, because it is stemming the climate change. Also for $75 million to a hundred billion dollars a year, they are needed for the adaptation measures. We need to make lots of money, so our planet would sound safer than it sounded before. Some possible outcomes of the climate are conferences by three different agreements. They are No agreement, Voluntary agreement, and Blinding agreement. It is my pleasure to be here today in Denmark. As all of you know we are here because we will need all of the support of all the countries and their leaders. I have decided that me and the U.S will sign he Kyoto Protocol.
We will sign the Kyoto Protocol because we realize that climate change is making a big impact in the world. For example the temperature has risen 1.26 degrees the past century. This might not seem like a lot, but it can make a huge impact in this world. another reason why we are becoming part of the Kyoto Protocol is because we realize that we are one of the top two that are emitting greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere. Another fact that we should look upon in making our decision is that 1.26 degrees that has risen in our planet or climate has created heat waves and storms around the world. For example many countries like Bangladesh are getting flooded because of climate change.
We know that in order to lower greenhouse gas emissions we will have to do our job of getting limit. We know how much it will cost in order to lower greenhouse gas emissions so we will put a certain amount of money we can. We will try to do our best in order to save our planet. Hello, and thank you all for coming. As climate change problems have begun to increase. In the past century the global temperature average has risen by 1.26 degrees fahrenheight or o.7 degrees celsius of increase in climate change is due to the increase on greenhouse gas emissions. The spike in temperature leads to drought, heat waves and storms. The UNFCC states that “ very narrow window of opportunity” is left.
Developing and developed countries can strike a deal. For leaders in several countries “ historical responsibility” and production of greenhouse gases. The developing countries are key to reach a copenhagen deal( which may cut emissions today).
Greenhouse gas emissions can be effectively cut. 80% of greenhouse emissions come from industrial activity and 20% come from deforestation. So Im going to set a cap and change on greenhouse gas emissions. Which will help and keep pollution rates down hopefully past 2012.
I will also try “COP15” which means I will do a short conference of parties. Voluntary agreement to each government to decide goals, so they will be enforced or will take to long or not too long at all.

Good morning. I am here in Copenhagen to talk to you about our climate crisis. Our experts have discovered that our Global climate as risen 1.26 fegrees in thee past century. This may not seem like a danger to us now,but in the future our increasing Global temperature might hold a threat to us all.
If we are careful enough to allow green house caps on our green house emissions,we are able to prevent any other future danger to us all. Our main goal is to stabilize the concentrations in the atmosphere that contain greenhouse gases,but without endangering our climate.
Possible outcomes to this climate change is a voluntary agreement which would allow each government to decide it's own goals and how to reach them. It is also possible to end up in a binding agreement as well. We hope to create a new legally binding agreement that would replace the Kyoto Protocal.
I know this may sound like a heavy load especially since we are in the process of recovering from the long recession but if we all work together we'll be able to help each other.
Hello, fellow nations. We are here today to talk about a grave danger that will be effecting the entire global community. This danger is global warming, the rising of the Earth's temperature due to the emitting of Carbon Dioxide. This rise may not be much, but it expected to and already has had disastrous effects, including flooding and a rise in sea level, due to melting polar ice caps, that if not stopped could lead to many Deltas and other areas being completely submersed.
As a planet we must find a way to cut down on the burning of fossil fuels, which emit Carbon Dioxide that will benefit both Developing and Developed countries. Of course, many of the developing countries have their whole economies based on industries that burn fossil fuels, that, if shut down, would leave many without jobs or food. So, a way to solve this would be to create new, eco-friendly industries that would give jobs to those who worked in the factories.
Also, we should stop cutting down trees and form industries based on planting them, because they are a big factor in reducing levels of Carbon Dioxide in our atmosphere. Of course, then what would become of all the things we use that come from trees, like paper. Well, we could simply recycle the paper and it would be good as new. I f we just got more people to recycle it would happen.
I think that if we as a planet put our best foot for ward we could solve climate change through alot of hard work. It is time for us to come together, as a planet and think of a way to stop global warming, and we can do it.
Hello. I am honored to be here today to talk about the nation's problems with global warming and solutions for it. First of all, I do agree to sign onto the Kyoto Protocol. Now, we should make a climate deal between the countries. The spike in climate change has hit us hard. There are many droughts and extreme storms. Floods from melted glaciers put and will put low lands under water. As you know, developed countries, like us, really need to try to limit our greenhouse emissions and see how much developing countries can reduce their emissions with out damaging their economic growth. Also, developing countries should be equal in the decision making, especially in technology and finance.
Now lest talk of the causes and effects more. 80% of greenhouse gas emissions come from are from industrial activities. This includes generating power, managing waste, transportation and operating buildings. 20% comes from deforestation alone. But that's a good thing. A fast, cheap way to cut greenhouse emissions is to limit the amount of trees we cut. If we preserve forests we'll have more trees to take in all our CO2. We should still reduce industrial activities though.
The cap-and-trade is a good method. With this we can use a mark that is slowly moved down so we can reduce pollution rates. Then we can trade carbon allowances. But for making deals, how do we do this? Well, we need a lot of help from the developing countries. If the developed countries cut their emissions, then the saving would be wiped out. Developing countries are the key to have a Copenhagen deal.
I know it will coast a bit but we can get through this. It will take billions of dollars per year.

My Obama Speech
Global warming has been brought up over and over again for the past century. We have noticed these problems but haven't taken any action as to protecting the Earth from the threats it is up against. The global temperature has risen by about 1.26 degrees farenheit. I know it doesn't sound like much, but in reality it is. Five degrees more and the Planet as we know it could cease to exist.
The UN's Intergovernal Panel on Climate Change says that there is a 90% chance that human actions are producing the greenhouse gases that are contributing to global warming. Some of these actions are deforestation, and fossil fuel combustion used to produce energy and run cars. A small increse in temperature has already been linked to droughts, heat waves and storms throughout the world. This is why we may need a climate deal.Not only is this affecting the environment, but the well-being of people is also being harmed. Heat waves can lead to attraction of unwanted species like the malaria infested mosquitos, and droughts destroy our food supply. Storms are the worst nowadays because the in the last few years, they have become more and more intense and have caused more and more damage. The UNFCC syas that this climate conference will "be the moment in history in which humanity has the opportunity to rise to the challenge," and I completely agree with that statement.
Our goal here is to show how developed countries, such as Japan and Australia can limit their GGH emmisions, and find out how developing countries, like India and Brazil, can reduce their emmisions. We need to ensure that all countries have an equal say in how we will adress this problem becase this Earth belongs to all of us and we all love it the same way. I believe we can learn how to be better and stay that way, so that the human race and all other animal races can live on and build better futures that we could have ever dreamed of.

Obama's visit to the copenhagen climate change meeting made it clear of the role that the u.s is playing in this gloabal warmimg dilemna.Obama clearly states that "After months of talk, after two weeks of negotiations, after innumerable side meetings, bilateral meetings, endless hours of discussion among negotiators, I believe that the pieces of that accord should now be clear." He also states that he has three big things can will help reduce emissions while giving people jobs, being more energy effificent, and usuing renewalbleenergy. He says that they wouldnt be there if they thought it wouldnt be true of their basically wwaisting their time. He spent most of the speech talking about the u.s.' contribution towards the dilemna.
Personally, i agree with obama. I believe that he has a good starting point and good i deas. If he is able to follow hrough with them that would be even better. He has evidence TO BACK UP HIS "CONTRIBUTIONS" and proof that he is willing to change and make a difference. I would have to say though that it might be another one of he promises that he doesnt commit to and he has alot of those including the one of healthcare.
I think he did say enough. i thnk he said the perfect amount. his speech wasnt boring and it was the perfect length enough to make people listen-acutally listen. Hs speech didnt include what he though other people should do or what he "suggests" shopuld be done. He sounded like he knew what he was talking about and he stuied the topic; really paid attention to it. His speech thogh was mainly about what only he does and not what else can be done. He only talked about what he was contributing.
In my opinion, i think it might be another promise. He has some good ideas and a goos starting point. it is evident that he knows what hes doing but he might not know where its heading or have it all planned out. he talks about giving money away like we have it when we are in a recession. But, how would we be giving money away whhe nwere in a recession. Also, by giving all those coroporations money, arent we taking away more jobs from people which is what he said he would fix. It sounds like it everything that sould happen that he wants to happen comes out of his mouth. He is able to commit to most of those commitments/promisess but sometimes his ideas can be a little far fetched.
Greetings, To all nations present here in Copenhagen today many you maybe asking yourself questions like, "Why might we even need a climate deal and if climate change is even happening?" To answer the second question climate change is very real and is not a tale. Some areas across the globe are already being affected by this. A few examples could be in Southern, Central, and Eastern Europe where health risks are high due to health risks, In Northeast U.S. who are feeling the brighter side of this climate change where they are experiencing mild winters, earlier springs, and later falls, and in South and East Asia due to increases in droughts and floods there is lot's of sickness and rise in coastal water temperatures increases chances of diseases in water. The goals of this conference are to walk out here with an agreed solid solution to climate change and it's effects. To be specific we plan to stabilize atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases to a point so that it wont create a dangerous effect on the climate we must make it clear to what extent developed and developing countries shall limit their emissions. Some strageties for solving the issue of how G.H.G emissions may be effectively cut are to reduce emissions from deforestation which will make produce a faster solution we can also place a cap on emissions for countries so if they go over they pay a fee which will make nations more willing to cooperate. Controversies over this by developing countries such as China are that they probally wouldn't be able to pay if they went over the cap and that they should be allowed to pollute the atmosphere until they are as rich as other developed countries. So I believe that we should set up a sort of financial support system for developing countries that can maybe help them pay off the fee or allow their caps to be higher than already developed countries which will make these nations more willing to sign on to a deal for a solution to climate change. The time to fight off climate change is now. We must end these pointless debates over weather climate change and except it and move on, we must unite together as one world to fight this off I know we're capable of that and that change will be achieved.
Hello, I am glad to be here to discuss the importance of the Copenhagen Conference. As you all know, not too far from now, in 2012, the Kyoto Protocol wil expire. The COP15 is a good substitute for that. This time I (U.S.)have no hesitation in participating in this agreement. The health of the entire Earth is on the line, and with research, 80% is from industrial activity, and 20% from deforestation. Because 80% is specifically from industries and factories (which profit the world's economy completely), reducing this type of human activity may also reduce our economy's wealth greatly.
Copenhagen is clearly aiming at large developed countries, who just so happen to be the bullseye of our world's economy...and dramatic/worrisome change in our planet. That, is the set back of the entire plan of following you with this agreement. Laws must be made for citizens to contribute and reduce their daily energy waste and inconsiderate lifestyle. Industries will be affected by this more conservative turn. $400 billion anually for climate change, $75M-$100M anual adaptation measures, and $150B for 10 years to boost energy jobs will be needed. Meanwhile the U.S.'s AND THE WORLD'S economy is going through a depression so this will be a large risk, and if anything goes wrong, t will be a deep problem for everyone.
The contradiction here is that this should be a secret risk but also a great and very rare opportunity to help out our planet. I am ashamed that we are the generation that has brought this horrible condition to our world. The global average has risen 1.26 degrees in the last century. The kyoto agreement aimed to reduce global industrail greenhouse gas emmissions by an average of 5 percent agianist 1990 levels over a yr period from 2008- 2012. it is almost 2010, 2012 is just around the corner something must be done fast.
Everyone as a whole needs to cut back, but how? How can we cut back emmissions form deloping countries without it talking a toll ecomicaly? how do we cut back emissions for delvoped countries but not to much to the point they have no power and freedom.

Hello World Leaders of this conference. I will just like to say thank you for letting me be here its really a pleasure to see you all. I’m sorry if I’m late to the conference but thank you. I want to announce that I have thought about this, I have been in contact and I want to see if I can make a difference to the USA carbon emission. I’m doing this to complete a promise, I’m not forced to sign, I can back out if I want, I just want to tell you what I think.
I think the climate change is a big thing right now. I know there is a lot of contra verse about Global Warming and if its good or bad on what we are doing. I also know that many of you are worried about the economy, trust me I am too. I think about how this is going to effect our world, but also how this going to affect job lost. But my question is, Do we the World have the money to do this? Or should we be paying attention to fixing our economy and doing this step by step? That’s why it’s a tough decision for me to sign the papers.
But I have been thinking. I have been thinking of a plan on how we could still fix our economy and save the planet from Global Warming. I will like for us the World Leaders, the ones that everyone depends on to make the decisions to listen. My plan is to not start out big but to start out small, like say start out by making cars put less carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, then start by fixing the companies problem with carbon dioxide. The world has been polluted at our hand. Not just the U.S but everyones. We, the people has considered Earth as our planet and home. One of the threats to us is global warming. Green house gases polluted the air and the ozone layer is getting smaller. Ice all over the world is melting. Animals are dieing for having no ice to rest on in swimming or traveling in the oceans. Sea levels are rising. If this continues low leveled islands are going to be completely underwater. The sea levels are drowning people and taking away people's homes. These people do not deserve this and soon this will happen to more people. Cimate change is making people and animals suffer. That's why we should stop it. Thats why we should stop it. Together, we can make the world safe again for us and thats why we will sign the kyoto protocol.
today i come before you people of Denmark,and i come to solve us a problem, global warming. it is a growing problem ever since scientific discovery's shown that the earth is heating up. and so far us the us have not been doing much about it, but right now, we are going to join the Kyoto protocol as we are concerned about the planets future, another reason why we must act now is because if we do not rebuilt the trees and reduce the pollution that is happening every moment, and if we don't all animal and creatures and ultimately us will disappear from the planets surface. a few way that everyone of us could help to save the environment which we need now more than ever,please close the tub tap and fix leaks that might come, and alway turn off electronic devices as soon as you finish using them. we are right now working to the full extend to improve the air qualities, and good luck to all the countries participating in this, thank you all for coming to my conference.
Today is the day where we can change the world, be it for better or worse. We are all here today because we want to fix our mistakes. The U.S. is currently the 2nd largest emitter in the world. We would like to move on, and reverse our damage. We believe that we are responsible for this, and want a chance to prove ourselves .
The U.S. is in a nasty position with the economy and unemployment rate, but we stand here today asking for help. We are all here today looking for answers. Looking for solutions to everything. I believe that we can do this together.
The U.S. is here because we're interested in this cause. It can not be fixed without the cooperation of all nations. So, we're here today, joining the efforts, and supporting the cause. There's a lot at risk right now, but if we don't risk it, the losses will be felt world wide. This is the world's problem, and together we will work to save the Earth.
So today we stand here offering our answers, our solutions, and our help in the hopes that we will succeed. In the spirit that we will make a difference. The U.S. now stands with you. We stand with you in this fight. Maybe we won't come up with a solution today, but we will. Just as we will do all we can in this fight against the environment.

When I was running for President my slogan was "Yes we can". I stand by that slogan because yes we can do something about climate change. Our climate is in a state of flux. Our global average temperature has risen 1.26 degrees fahrenheit (0.7 degrees celsius) in the last century. We have linked the small spike in temperature to drought, heat waves, and storms all over the planet. Currently we are in need of a new climate deal as the Kyoto Protocol will expire in the ear of 2012, other wise just around the corner. UNFCC experts say recent climate and weather extremes lead to show us that there is only a very narrow window of hope and opportunity left to stem climate change. According to the UNFCC this Coppenhaegen Conference will be the moment in history in which humanity has the opportunity to rise to the challenge. This conference can change our ideals and gives us the opportunity to fight against climate change.
COP15 is the 15th Conference of parties or countries to the UNFCC. This is the fifth meeting of parties to the Kyoto Protocol. Are goals for this conference are to:
1. make clear how developed countries such as the U.S., Australia, and Japan will limit their greenhouse gases emissions..
2. make how much developed countries like China, India, and Brazil can limit their emissions without limiting their economical growth.
3. See options for stable and predictable financing from developed countries that can help the developing part of the world reduce greenhouse gas emissions and ways to adapt to climate change.
4. Find ways to ensure developing countries are treated as equal partners in decision making particulary when it leads to technology and finance.

Ladies and Gentlemen of COP15. I am addressing you today because the U.S. needs to change its ways. However, this will not be easily changed. The U.S., along with the world, is in fact in danger. It may not be imminent danger, but it is in fact danger.
Before we start off this whole talk, I would like to speak heart to heart with you. I am indeed all for saving the Earth and becoming, "greener," as a world. However, I am also for a more stable economy and an unemployment rate much lower than it is currently. I understand that this agreement could take many jobs, as well as many billions of of dollars, but nonetheless. I am committed.
Scientific data has proved time and time again that to stop Global Warming, we must act now. Scientific data has also proved that the United States do in fact emit the most CO2 in the world. I fell that as a world leader, it is my duty to give back to the world. Because we owe Mother Earth, we owe her an agreement as a country and as a world.
Dear People,
Our climate and weather are extremely changing in past more than ten years ago. They are getting rising higher and faster than what we were planning of. I thought that it would be great that we are going to have COP15 about Kyoto Climate Changes with 185 nations. But except for us, United States. Most of you know why. That because the Kyoto Protocol is going to expire on the year of 2012. We call it is an, “ambitious new deal.” It needs to be worked out of this year to provide governments guidance beyond Kyoto. The UN Framework on Climate Change aims to stabilize to the atmospheric concentration of greenhouse gases. It could leads to a level that will not create the dangerous interference with the climates.
Our country, United States needs $400 billion dollars in a year, because it is stemming the climate change. Also for $75 million to a hundred billion dollars a year, they are needed for the adaptation measures. We need to make lots of money, so our planet would sound safer than it sounded before. Some possible outcomes of the climate are conferences by three different agreements. They are No agreement, Voluntary agreement, and Blinding agreement. We need you to help our planet to be better and safer than before. Thank you for listening to my speech.
